After a serious fall down steps, I broke a rib and tore muscles and ligaments in my lower back and pelvis, I was unable to walk upright for weeks. I have been taking Pilates from Dr. Rogers for two years. Having practiced yoga for years, I was not sure what to expect from the pilates discipline. However Dr. Rogers is such a fantastic teacher that I now take her mat class, a group reformer class and a private reformer class every week! My body has changed so much. I am 57 years old and started doing Pilates about 6 months ago. My schedule does not permit me to attend classes. I decided to preview many beginning Pilates CD's through Netflix, and have tried out many of them. Of all the beginning CD's yours is by far the best in many ways. I was able to learn proper body positioning, and build up my strength and flexibility without injuring myself. Then I started moving on to more advanced Pilates and Yoga CD's, and neglected yours. I developed a pain down left lower back and left leg, and was getting discouraged. Then I decided to try returning to your foundations CD. It was amazing. I didn't hurt while I was exercising, and was markedly better and the pain is now almost gone. Your foundations CD is a treasure. I am getting so much pleasure from Pilates, and from your instruction. Thank you so much for this wonderful gift, and addition to my life.
